In June of 2002, Professor Robert L. Morris of the Koestler Parapsychology Unit in the Department of Psychology at the University of Edinburgh, Dr. Rex G. Stanford, of the Psychology Department at St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York, and Dr. Michaeleen Maher, of the New School University in Manhattan, got together with Parapsychology Foundation staff members, Dr. Carlos S. Alvarado and Nancy L. Zingrone to answer the difficult question, “How do I become a parapsychologist?”
In tape one, in tales that are both charming and informative, Drs. Alvarado, Morris, Stanford and Maher each describe their early educational experiences and give advice to students who express an interest in the science of parapsychology.
