Held in Utrecht, the Netherlands, from October 15th through October 18th, 2008, this conference was designed by an advisory group consisting of a prominent international group of scholars and researchers (Eberhard Bauer and Gerd Hovelmann from Germany, Hans Gerding from the Netherlands, Etzel Cardena from Sweden and Roger Nelson from the USA) lead by the Parapsychology Foundation's own Carlos S. Alvarado and Nancy L. Zingrone, spearheaded by Lisette Coly of the PF, and funded and hosted by the Het Johans Borgman Funds and Wim Kramer respectively, Utrecht II brought together a unique group of speakers, presenters, discussants and observers to assess “Where We Are Now and Where We Are Going?” in scientific parapsychology. The resulting conference proceedings is one of the most important publications in the field, providing state of the art chapters on a wide variety of important topics. A searchable CD of the complete proceedings is also included. |
